Hermès Kelly Price Guide 2026
If there’s one thing the Hermès 2026 price increase has confirmed, it’s that for the first time (at least from what I can remember), the Retourne and Sellier styles are priced exactly the same—a change that has been, oh, so desired among H-fans. I mean, before, you had to factor price into the equation as much as the look. Thus, even if your heart was set on one construction, the difference in price could easily sway your decision.
Now, however, the choice comes down to what really matters: whether you prefer the relaxed, understated elegance of the Retourne or the crisp, structured lines of the Sellier.
But of course, equal pricing doesn’t mean the Kelly has become any more attainable. In fact, January 2026 brought yet another round of price increases across the collection, making the Kelly bag feel more exclusive—and more elusive—than ever before. Ahead, your complete overview of the latest Hermès Kelly bag prices for 2026 in both U.S. dollars and euros.

Is it still cheaper to purchase the Hermès Kelly bag in Europe in 2026?
Europe has always been the go-to destination for scoring a Kelly at a slightly more favorable price—but is it really still cheaper to buy the bag abroad in 2026?
Well, let’s take the Kelly 25 Sellier as an example. In the U.S., the bag now retails for $13,700 before sales tax. In Europe, the same style is priced at €9,600, which converts to approximately $11,136 using an exchange rate of 1 EUR = 1.16 USD. That’s a difference of roughly $2,564 before factoring in any local U.S. sales tax.
But here’s the fun part: eligible non-EU visitors may also be able to claim a so called VAT-refund on purchases made in Europe, which potentially is going to increase the savings even further. Sure, you’ll have to weigh those savings against the cost of flights, hotels, and so on, but the key takeaway here is that you can still save a significant amount of money by purchasing the handbag abroad!
One important thing to keep in mind, however, is import duty. When returning to the U.S. with your new bag, customs duty may still apply depending on the declared value and your personal exemption allowance (currently $800 per person).
I will be updating this post as more prices become available!
