What do you think of shoes from Amina Muaddi? First worn by celebrities like Rihanna, Kendall Jenner and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, today Amina Muaddi makes some of the most sought-after designer shoes, featured all over the Instagram, worn by every major fashion influencer and blogger.

The brand gained huge popularity for their distinctive shoe designs. A geometric heel, vibrant colors and overall party-shoe aesthetic make Amina Muaddi shoes instantly recognizable.

How the brand was started

What do we know about the brand so far? The company was named after its founder – Amina Muaddi, who has been on a fashion scene for quite a moment. Muaddi grew up in Italy, being herself half-Romanian and half-Jordanian. She studied at the European Institute of Design in Milan and has worked as a stylist at L’Uomo Vogue and GQ.  Many know Amina Muaddi because of her Instagram profile. Being a known Italian influencer, Muaddi was often spotted at fashion weeks. However, what Amina Muaddi was always very passionate about was shoe design. It was in Milan, where she has co-founded her first shoe brand, Oscar Tiye. Then Muaddi moved to Paris and in 2018 she launched her own eponymous brand – Amina Muaddi.

The brand had such a great start, that Muaddi has won the 2018 FN Achievement Award for Launch of the Year. Why I, personally, believe the brand had such a huge success from the beginning is because Muaddi’s shoe designs in a way reinvent the modern glamour. Glamorous, but playful and very fashion-forward – these heels have it all.

A closer look into Amina Muaddi shoe collection

Gilda, Begum and Lupita are at the moment some of the most popular Amina Muaddi shoe designs. Gilda Sandals were introduced in Muaddi’s Spring/Summer ’19 collection. Today, many call them the ultimate statement sandal.

Begum Pumps are another extremely popular shoe model by Amina Muaddi. In addition to a statement geometric heel, Begum Pumps feature a pointed toe with a crystal embellishment detail. The most sought after Begum Pumps are those made of transparent PVC. Many call them the ultimate cinderella shoes.

Lupita is another very popular style by Amina Muaddi. The shoes feature a square-toe silhouette along with the iconic geometric heel. Perfect for wear day-to-night, Lupita Sandals come in a variety of finishes. You can get them in either full leather, suede or PVC.

I, personally, think that the Amina Muaddi shoes are simply fabulous. However, they are quite difficult to find. I’ve been willing to snag a pair for quite a moment before I actually managed to find them. It took a lot of time and research. The harsh truth is that the Amina Muaddi shoes, especially, the Gilda Sandals, are very often sold out online.

Where to buy Amina Muaddi shoes?

If you are on hunt for a pair of Amina Muaddi shoes, there are two major things you should know. First is that the shoes can be purchased either on Amina Muaddi’s website or at selected luxury retailers. I found Amina Muaddi being sold at MyTheresa, MatchesFashion, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Moda Operandi and Saks Fifth Avenue. Second thing you should know is that Amina Muaddi usually produces one shoe collection a year. Her designs are released both to the retailers and her website on a monthly basis. The shoes usually sell out fast as the supply is way lower than demand.

Below, I am linking every pair of Amina Muaddi shoes that I found online. Hopefully, it helps if you’ve been looking for the shoes but could not find them! You are welcome!
